Bangkok is an exciting and vibrant city of over 12 million people. It is the only cosmopolitan city in a country of small towns and villages. It is a city full of contrasts with action at every turn. Next time, I will visit the temples, catch a Tuk Tuk, go to the floating markets, and I will eat more of its great Thai food.

Stopover in Bangkok

I only spent half a day with my family in the megacity of Bangkok in Thailand. We were on our way to New Zealand with Thai Airways and we had a stopover at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. So, instead of waiting at the airport for our next plane, we took a train to the city center.

Siam Paragon Mall

Because of the short time available, we only visited Siam Paragon Shopping Mall. Siam Paragon is an immensely popular shopping mall located in front of Siam BTS Skytrain station. For that reason, it is considered by many to be the center.

Must go back!

My mom and dad already visited Thailand many times and they have told me that this is an incredibly beautiful land. Bangkok is a city full of contrasts with action at every turn. Next time, I will visit the temples, catch a Tuk Tuk, go to the floating markets, and I will eat more of its great Thai food.
I will definitely be back soon!
